The original building was constructed by Mustafa Ağa in 1640 to provide an income for the dervish lodge, but it was completely destroyed in a fire. The exact construction date of the present building is unknown; however the architecture style suggests the 19th Century.
It is a simple, single storey building made from white cut stone. The original building was open at the front and rear, with no doors. The north face has shops on the street side. Today it is used as a trading place where local produce is sold.
