| Ayşe Bacı Mosque | | According to its deed of trust dated 1722, this mosque was built at the beginning of the 18th century by Hadji Ali, son of Mehmet. The mosque was badly damaged during the French occupation and extensive repairs were made in 1961.
The arched entrance to the courtyard is in the form of a portal made of black and white stones. The mosque has a widthways rectangular plan. The present praying portico was a later addition to the building. Having no significant embellishment apart from the geometric decorations surrounding the "mihrab" (prayer niche), this mosque is one of the plainest structures in Gaziantep. The main body of the minaret is polygonal, and there is "muqarnas" (a type of corbel used as a decorative device in traditional Islamic architecture) beneath its gallery. The building has largely lost its original character as a result of renovations and repairs.
